About Red Blossom
Red Blossom Farms is rapidly growing to be one of California’s leading strawberry producers. Incorporated in 2004, we’ve since grown to over 1500 acres in California’s premier growing regions: Baja California, Irvine, Oxnard, Santa Maria and Salinas/Watsonville. We continue to develop our grower resources to ensure uninterrupted product availability nearly year round. In 2006, Red Blossom shipped over 6 million cartons of strawberries and in 2007 will ship over 8 million cartons to keep up with growing demand. With strawberry consumption growing faster than any other fruit in the produce department, Red Blossom is meeting this demand with a continuous supply of sweet, delicious, strawberries 11 months of the year.
Red Blossom’s strawberries are hand-picked and field-packed December through October. Packed pallets are expedited from the field to Red Blossom’s fully modernized, forced air coolers, where every berry is chilled to an optimal 32-34 F. We’ve cultivated a team of inspired growers, shippers, buyers and retailers dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of fresh, delicious strawberries from the field to the consumer.

To ensure only the freshest, healthiest berries reach customers, Red Blossom has allied itself with Primus Labs and Agricultural Data Systems to create a thorough, food safety network.
Primus Labs’ auditing provides a third party verification system to ensure Red Blossom follows the most up-to-date food safety practices. Primus inspects, audits and randomly tests all ranches, harvest crews, and cooling facilities to confirm safe and healthy practices are established and maintained.
