At Capurro Farms our Food Safety philosophy is simple; "FOOD SAFETY FIRST”. We are a family owned business and we are passionate about the importance of safe food. Our company would never want to produce and distribute food that we would not want our own children to eat.
Capurro Farms is a committed member of the California Leafy Greens Handler Marketing Agreement. This newly formed organization, along with new, recently developed food safety “best practices” metrics adopted by the produce industry has taken our food safety program to a new level of product safety.
Food Safety is not a static program. It is dynamic in nature. Each and every meeting discusses Food Safety and each and every management action ensures that Food Safety, not only fits comfortably into the overall objective of Capurro Farms, but is also understood and easily executed by each and every employee of Capurro Farms.
