Socieded Mexicana di Normalizacion y Certification, S.C. (Normex), a multi-type consulting organization in Mexico, and approved certifier entity by the Department of Health, Department of Labor and Department of Labor and Department of Commerce of Mexico, has entered in to an agreement with PrimusLabs.com, Santa Maria, Calif.
The companies will jointly develop a complete food safety program and verification system for the agriculture and food production communities in the several areas of Mexico that utilize Normex's services.
The joint program is centered around PrimusLabs.com's document development Program, an interactive food safety manual and SOP builder available through their website. Growers and food producers will prepare their own manuals, aided by references to prevailing U.S. standards and will conduct self-evaluations. PrimusLabs.com-trained auditors employed by Normex will then conduct verifications of each grower's/food processor's performance. Program information and results will be displayed on a website developed for Normex by PrimusLabs.com.
