Platinum Clients utilizing
PrimusLabs' Pesticide Certified Program
|
Definition: PrimusLabs utilizes current FDA, PAM,
EPA and AOAC methodologies for its pesticide analysis. These, coupled with our
internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), adherence to the Chain of Custody
for all samples from sample collection to analysis, the use of high quality,
high purity analytical standards, utilization of quality equipment such as gas
chromatographs (GC) and high performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC), ensure
accurate and reproducible analyses.
|
Analysis: The equipment used by PrimusLabs is configured for the
detection of organochlorines, organophosphates, organonitrates, organosulfates
and methyl carbamates. Based upon the extraction methods and equipment
utilized, well over 250 compounds "as listed in the FDA's Pesticide Analytical
Manual Vol. I Table 302-A" can be analyzed and recovered by PrimusLabs.
Utilizing all of the above methods and employing highly qualified, well-trained and
dedicated personnel assures that the client obtains accurate and timely
analytical results.
Clarification: A "Certified" program is a pre-harvest sampling and
analysis program in which PrimusLabs personnel collect a representative
sample of the commodity from the field and maintain a strict chain of custody
from the field to the laboratory for analysis. A product is "Certified" when it
meets applicable government standards.
