Food Safety
Six L’s Packing has created a comprehensive working Food Safety Program that encompasses our entire produce operation, from growing fields to finished product. Our Program is an integrated system developed on the principles and theories as outlined in the USDA/FDA Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations,and The Tomato Metrics. We have utilized Davis Fresh for several years to audit our food safety and quality program. Our managers and key personnel undergo formal training and certification. All packinghouse personnel are trained in food safety principles, GMPs,and food security. All farm personnel are trained in food safety, GAPs and food security.
